Today marks our 15th year in business and what a journey it has been. When I first started this business, to be honest I didn’t really have a clue about anything: how to run a business, accounts & finances, what the business would actually grow into and where it would go etc.
The business started in the Internet cafe of a community centre in Bolton with no investment, no money and really, no clue.
Over time, with some help along the way, I’ve grown it into the leading specialist provider in our ‘niche’ in the U.K., working with top clubs, brands, events agencies and literally tens of thousands of kids across the country.
After my daughter, it’s my proudest achievement and I’m so glad that I took the leap to take a chance on an idea and a concept that has given me an incredible career with some surreal moments including:
- Running a halftime event at Anfield with my name and business announced on the tannoy (I’m a lifelong Red!)
- Two events at David Beckham’s old house ‘Beckingham Palace’
- Helping to launch the new Adidas Predator boot on the 30th anniversary after having the boots myself as a kid
- Working with major brands as part of the Champions League final and meeting genuine footballing royalty
There’s so many more special memories but I still have the same burning ambition to make more, do more and achieve more.
